Technology Consultant

Meritech, Inc. is currently looking for high energy, well motivated individuals who want to succeed in a fast paced career. We take a consultative approach to helping our customers understand and implement a document management solution tailor made for their unique environment. This will mainly focus on a company’s document workflow including their multifunction copier, printer, fax, and scanning needs. We then provide continued service and support to ensure our customers stay operational and current with the latest technology.

As an outside Technology Consultant your focus will be to target new business opportunities and maintain current customer relationships. This will include meeting with IT professionals and key “C” level decision makers to assess and determine specific needs related to document workflow. You will be responsible for proposing and presenting various solutions, closing the sales, and overall account management. You will need to have the ability to be a self starter, manage your time wisely, ability to overcome objections, and have a sense of providing total customer satisfaction.

Skills and Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in outside Business to Business sales – preferably in the document solutions field
• Computer Experience – Microsoft Office Suite
• Articulate Communication and Effective Presentation Skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Commitment to target and develop new accounts (track record of this a plus)
• Professional Appearance and Demeanor
• Knowledge of computer networks and digital office environment helpful
